Apricots are native to the old Persian Empire which is today's Iran, Armania, Azarbaijan, and Turkey. Apricots bloom early and are suceptable to early frost. We have conducted substantial reseach on cultivar evaluation for Apricots and you can see the picture of these cultivars undr Apricot photo. Apricot crop was damaged by frost in 2008.
