> Dr. Fallahi Received the Governor's Award of Excellence in Agriculture, Technical and Discovery category on Feburary 12 2008.

Dr. Fallahi will present a half a day workshop on Fruit Production for Idaho in Latah County, Moscow, Idaho on Tuesday Feb 3, 2009.

Idaho Chemical Fruit Fair will be held at Sizzler Resturant in Ontario, Oregon on Feburary 20 2009. Dr. Fallahi will talk about his new discoveries and many chemical vendors talk about their products.

Tree Fruit Production and Pruning class will be held in Eagle with Ada, Canyon, and Gem counties Master Gardeners. Dr. Fallahi will be teaching.

Table grape Fruit Scool will be held on Feb 28, 2009 at the University of Idaho Parma Research and Extension Center. Dr. Fallahi will lead the school and tours.

Note to Fruit Growers: As of today (Feb 1 2009), we have not seen any damage from the winter cold on any fruit species in Southwest Idaho. All trees and vines look healthy. Prunig of apples and peaches have started.
